​Wisconsin State Wide Youth Bible Bowl

2024 District Announcement... 

BIBLE BOWL WINNERS - Seven teams from four churches participated in the 2024 Statewide Bible Bowl held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Wausau on Saturday, April 6, competing  on the Book of “Acts”.  Three teams from St. Paul - Bonduel, two teams from St. John’s High Steeple - Edgar, one team each from St. Martin - Clintonville and Zion - Mondovi.

Participants from:

- St. Paul - Bonduel: Will B, Garrett A, Katie S, Vincent P, Gage A, Griffin U, Morgyn G, Sophie M, Dahlia H, Lucy P, and Coach Dave 

- St. John’s - Edgar: Ben H, Colin P, Christian P, Makayla S, Nicholas P, Preston S, and Coach Dawn

- St. Martin - Clintonville: Adela B, Cora L, Eliana H, Naomi M, and Coach Al
- Zion - Mondovi: Ellie O, Tanner O, Becca O, and Coach Joe

Team trophy winners were:  St. John’s High Steeple Edgar - B (1st); St. John’s High Steeple Edgar - A (2nd);  St. Paul Bonduel - A (3rd);  St. Paul Bonduel - C (4th); and St. Paul Bonduel - B (5th).

All participating youth were eligible to test for individual medals. Individual medal winners included: Colin P. - 1st (St. John-Edgar); Vincent P. - 2nd (St. Paul-Bonduel); Ben H. - 3rd (St. John-Edgar); Christian P. - 4th (St. John-Edgar); Makayla S. - 5th (St. John-Edgar); Will B. - 6th (St. Paul-Bonduel); Nicholas P. - 7th (St. John-Edgar); Tanner O. - 8th (Zion-Mondovi); Gage A. - 9th (St. Paul-Bonduel); Katie S. - 10th (St. Paul-Bonduel). 

This has been the 14th Annual Statewide Bible Bowl for Youth and Pastor Palmer enjoyed working with the youth, and appreciated all coaches and adult youth leaders and helpers for inspiring our youth to continue their knowledge of the Bible. Special thanks to Blaine Welch and St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Wausau for hosting, Rev. Steve Breitrick, Rev. Fred Boettcher, and the District staff who have supported this event.  With God’s blessing we pray our youth will continue to be encouraged and inspired to be in God’s Word, meet & make new friendships across Wisconsin for years to come.
