- Develop a buddy system phone regularly and discuss
current affairs, find out how the person is doing, etc. The buddy knows whom to contact in
case of sickness or special needs.
- Develop a support group for adults caring for their own
parents.
- Present a program on "Dealing With Stress" due
to changes in our lives death of a spouse, retirement, job loss, illness, move to a
new community, etc.

- Provide a bus tour during the holiday season to view
lights and decorations. Eat supper together before or after the tour.
- "Show and Tell" your hobbies or trips.
- Set up a Senior Day Camp include Bible study,
crafts, fishing, golf, "how to" classes, hiking.
- Begin a "walking club."
- Set up a secret pal or pen pal program between senior
adults and either high school youth or school age children. Have a banquet at the end of
the year.
- Begin a kitchen band to perform on request.
- Provide a health fair.
